An Assortment of the Early Works of Tristan Meinecke
In his late teens and early twenties, while he was going to school and actively exploring blues and jazz, Tristan Meinecke augmented his income by drawing for several local newspapers. To the best of our knowledge these are the only remaining examples.

Boy With a Horn Drawing. Age unknown; though probably late 1920's to the early 1930's. Based on the # 7 after the signature, maybe the creation date is 1924 though that is speculation. Inventory #: B-77

Drawing of Jesus Christ probably in the 30's.: Around 1960 the artist transformed this idea into a painting which was stolen from the Chase address in 2001. It was one of two paintings the artist lost due to theft. Neither have been recovered. Inventory #: B-76

Early experimentation -- later the artist would convert this idea into a painting. At the time TM was producing and selling paintings at a prodigious rate. Current owner is unknown. Inventory #: B-75.
